Spent a great day on Saturday up at Guards in blazing sunshine. A terrific match for the 2010 Royal Windsor Horse Show Cup, part of the Harcourt Developments Queen’s Cup 2010 series - high goal players on both teams with end to end action all the way - Piaget narrowly beating Emlor 11-10.
The Queen’s Cup is held at a number of top grounds, including Guards, Cowdray and Coworth and is being held between 18May and 13 June. It’s contested by 14 teams this year and the final is held at Guards and is usually attended by HRH The Queen.

We’ve just got back from a fabulous week in the Lake District – just what the Doctor ordered for recharging the batteries! Some walking, some photography and the odd cake (or two). The Lakes are a glorious place, at this time of the year they’re alive with the colour of Acers, Azaleas, Magnolias, Rhodies, etc., and there were hundreds of lambs everywhere!
