A few images from a recent shoot with Chloe – I was looking for a 50’s feel, and think I got pretty close. The colours and tones are reminiscent of film from that era, almost as though we’d been in the South of France (although we were nowhere near!).

Yesterday I met up with Jon and Esther for their engagement shoot – on one of the hottest days of the year! We had a great time, and I’m looking forward to photographing their wedding next month at the beautiful Highcliffe Castle.

Being a photographer is a great job, and one of the best parts is that I get to share some of the happiest days of people’s lives. Take last Sunday for instance – a christening combined with a first birthday ….. she’s a real cutie and I’m sure she’ll be breaking guys’ hearts when she’s older! It’s a real privilege to be part of these celebrations and to document them for clients – actually, although “clients” is the correct term, it’s seems too harsh because when you become a family’s photographer and document their lives you become a friend – that’s the fantastic thing about this work.
