The recent chilly weather’s allowed me time to catch up on the admin, and that includes posting a couple of shots from this recent photo session – I’ll think you’ll agree that this little lady has a certain charm (although I’m not sure her Mum would agree with that all of the time through the teething process!)

I suddenly realised that I’d not posted any images from the recent photoshoot in the New Forest with the lovely Clair-Marie. Hair and make-up was done by the very talented Sarah Keenan from Southampton (if you’re looking for bridal makeup in the Southampton area, I can thoroughly recommend Sarah), and the location was courtesy of the New Park Manor Hotel in Brockenhurst.
These are just a few of my favourites from the day – the Blog post would be too long if I added them all in!
It wasn’t the brightest of days, and the mizzle meant that we spent the majority of the shoot indoors – I resisted the temptation to use flash, and relied instead on the awesome Nikon D700 to do it’s stuff with the available light ……. and it didn’t disappoint! Luckily it did stop raining for a while so that we could use some of the outdoor locations.

I’m pleased to say that the upgrade of the website’s now complete A few tweaks here and there, some new images, and most importantly …. it’s now compatible with the iPad and iPhone/mobiles! As it’s a Flash-based website, most mobiles couldn’t get past the landing page, which is really annoying, so what we’ve done is to create two “mirror-sites” that can be read by the iPad and the iPhone – you can see everything!
Existing and potential clients can now check the site whilst they’re on the move – a good week’s work …. even if I do say so myself!!

I’m really excited about an upgraded version of the website that’ll be going live in the next week or two – it’ll be compatible with iPhones/iPads/phones! There’s also a bunch of technical stuff working behind-the-scenes, such as built-in search engine optimization so it can be crawled and indexed by the Googlebots just like an html site ( I know – BORING …… zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz).

After yesterday’s great wedding show at the Italian Villa in Compton Acres, a huge vote of thanks to Melanie at Bellissino Wedding Planners – a great show venue and loads of visitors … the car park was packed all day! Back to reality this morning with unpacking everything from the show and catching up on the “admin” – not only following up on leads & updating my list of suppliers, but making sure I get all of the boring stuff like expense reconciliation done. Not the most exciting part of the job, but a necessary one!
