I like photography even I dont have any cameras excerpt pocket camera. But really enjoy any photoworks. In my mind, photography is combination between technology and art. Both must run together...

I couldn't agree more. The cameras are getting more and more sophisticated themselves but the photographs that they produce are only as good as the photographer.

I know Greg - it's a camera I really, really wanted when I saw the spec and the pre-launch shots, and having used it I can vouch that the IQ's brilliant, even with jpgs (and it really is silent if you want it to be). But it's another camera to get used to, with it's own operating system and for the moment (at least) I decided to let my head rule my heart - but that's not to say that I won't succumb in the end!

And as for the competence of photographers in the wedding industry - well, I'd better make sure I've got a good supply of caffeine when I get to that one! :)

Interesting your comments on the X100 I was hoping like you for a silent small camera with great IQ that would be a great companion for certain shots.

and look forward to your post about the competence of photographers in the wedding photography industry.
